While searching f or hi s missing fa ther, Kit Taylor finds an Advent Deck - a speci al card dec k that allows the carr ier to trans form i nto a Kamen Rider and utilize uni que weapons and powers - and uses it to become Kam en Rider Dragon Knight. He b utts heads w ith Len, who serve s as Ka men Rider Wing Knight, but the pai r join forces afte r Kit learns that the w icked Ge neral Xaviax ha s impri sone d hi s father and is using him and the other humans that his monsters abduct to gai n power and rebuild h is homeworld. Lat er on Kase, a f ellow surv ivor of Ventara like Len, would join forc es with Len and Kit to figh t Xav iax. In addition to training Kit to fight lik e a Rider, Len and Kase tell K it all about the twelve Riders who banded together as th e protec tors of Ventara - a world o pposite t o our own - to take Xaviax down .
