While searching for his missin g father, Kit Tay lor finds an Advent Deck - a s pecial card deck that allow s the carrier to t ransform into a Kam en Rider and utilize u nique weapo ns and powers - and uses it to become Kam en Rider Dragon Knight. He butts heads with Len , who serves as Kamen Rider Wing Knight , bu t the pair join forces aft er Kit learn s that the wicked General Xaviax has imprisoned his fathe r an d is using him and the othe r huma ns that his monste rs abd uct to gain pow er and rebuild his homeworld. Lat er on Kas e, a fell ow survivor of Ventara like Len, would jo in forc es with Len and Kit to fight Xaviax. In addition to traini ng Kit to fight like a Rider, Len and Kase tell Kit all about the twelve Ride rs who banded tog ether as t he protec tors of Ventar a - a world opposite to our own - to take Xaviax down .
