While searching for his miss ing father, Kit Tay lor finds an Ad vent Deck - a special card deck that a llows the carrier to tran sform into a Kamen Ride r and utiliz e unique weapo ns and powe rs - and uses it to become Ka men Ride r Dra gon K night. He butts heads with Len, w ho serves as Kame n Rider Wing Knight , but t he pair j oin forces after Kit learns th at the wicke d General Xaviax has imprisoned his fath er and is using him and t he other h umans that his monsters abduct to gain po wer a nd rebuild his homew orld. Late r on Kase, a fellow surviv or of Ven tara lik e Len, woul d join forces with Len and Kit t o fi ght Xaviax. In addition to trai ning Kit to fight l ike a Rider, Len an d Kase tell Kit all about the twelve Riders wh o banded together as the protectors of Ventara - a world opposite to our own - to take Xaviax down. However, due to the traitorous actions of Kit' ;s predecessor, Adam, General Xaviax destroyed most of the Rider s via a process called Venti ng - which traps defea ted Riders in the "Ad vent Voi d" bet ween dimensions forever - and sto le their Adven t Decks.
