While searching for his missing father, Kit Taylor finds an A dvent Deck - a special card deck that allows the carrier to transfor m into a Kamen Rider and utilize uni que weapons and powers - and uses it to bec ome Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. He butts heads with Len, who serves as Kame n Rider Wing Knight, but th e pair jo in forces after Kit lea rns t hat the wicked General Xav iax has imprisoned his fathe r and is usi ng him and the other humans that hi s monsters abduct to gain power and rebuild his homeworld. Later on Kase, a fel low survivor of Vent ara like Len , would joi n forces with Len and Ki t to fight Xaviax. In addition to training Kit to fi ght like a Rider, Len and Kase tell Kit all about the twelve Ri ders who banded together as the protectors of Ventar a - a world opposite to our own - to take Xaviax dow n.
