While searching for his missing f ather, K it Taylor finds an Advent Dec k - a special card deck that allows th e carrier to transfor m in to a Kamen Rider and utilize uniqu e weapon s and powe rs - and uses it to become Kamen R ider Dragon Knight. He butts h eads w ith Len, who serves as Kamen Rider W ing Knight, bu t the pai r joi n forces after Kit learns that th e wicked General Xav iax has imprisoned his fat her a nd is u sing him and the othe r humans t hat his monsters abduct t o gain pow er and rebuild his homeworld. L ater on Kase, a fellow s urvivo r of V entara like Len, would join fo rces with Len and Kit to fight Xaviax . In ad dition to training K it to fight like a Rider, Len and Kase tell Kit all about the tw elve Riders who ba nded tog ether as the protectors of Ventara - a world opposite to our o wn - to ta ke Xaviax down.
