Also wort h noting is t hat here, a n ew theme song was added that was written by J.R. Johnston and Neil Pa nton. The theme was sung by J.R. Johnston. This theme song was not shown intern ationally, and as a result, it does not appear on the DV Ds (although Garfield's quotations are kept intact). Th is new introductio n sequen ce used m ost clips from Seasons 5-7 and a few from the first two s easons, as well as Garfie ld in Paradise and Garfield's Feline F antasies.
