The news comes after star an d executive prod ucer , Mark Harmon, signed a new deal with CBS to reprise his role on the series. “NCIS has been a global juggernau t for alm ost two decades,” said CBS Entertainmen t President, Kelly Kahl. “It s viewers are clearly the most loyal of any drama on television . They are passiona te about the chara cters , the pl otlines and the storytell ing. We owe a huge debt of gratit ude to the gifted production team and the cast, l ed by the extraordinary Mar k Harmon.
