CBS will be bringing back another one of its veteran dra mas for the 2019-20 TV seas on. Announ ced this aft ernoon, the network has o fficially r enewe d “NCIS” for its seventeenth se ason. The ne ws com es after star and exe cutive producer, Mark Harmon, signed a new deal with CBS to reprise his r ole on the series. “NCIS has been a glob al ju ggernaut for almo st two decades,” said CBS Entertainment President, Kelly Kahl. “ Its viewers are clearly the most lo yal of any drama on tel evision. They are passionat e about the charac ters, the plotlines and the storytelling. We owe a huge debt of gra titude t o the gi fted produ ction team and the cast, led by th e extraordinary Mark Ha rmon.
