The news c omes after star and executive producer, Mark Harmon, si gned a new deal with CBS to reprise his role on the series. “NC IS has been a gl obal juggernaut for almost two decades,” said CBS Entertainment President , Kell y Kahl. “Its viewers are clearl y the most loyal of any drama on television. They are passionate abou t the charac ters , the plotlines and the st orytel ling. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the gifted production team and the cas t, led by the extraordinary Mark Harmon.
