Filmin g has begun on the fourth series of popular Bath -bas ed detective dram a McDonald Dod ds, starri ng Tala Gouveia and BAFTA award-winner Jason Wat kins . Compr ising three feature length films (3 x1 20), th e guest cast for the fir st story include s Toby Ste phens (Lost In Space), singersongwriter Pixie Lott (The Voice Kids ), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel La paine (Catast rophe), Dipo Ola (Landsc apers), John Gordon Sin clair (Gregory’s Gi rl) a nd Ace Bhatt i (L ine of Du ty). In this first film, McDonal d and Do dds begin to investigate when a middl e-aged woman is found shot d ead in a rented flat. The kill er has removed all clues t o her identit y, but DNA reveals she went missing over 35 year s ago.
