Filming ha s begun on t he f ourth series of popular Bath-based detective drama McDona ld Dodds, star ring Tala Gouveia and BAFTA award-wi nner Jason Watkins. Comprising three feature length films (3 x120), t he guest cast for the first s tory includes Toby Stephens (Lost In Space), singerso ngwriter Pixie Lott (The Voice Kids), Lydia L eonard (Gent leman Jack), Dani el Lapaine ( Catastrophe), Dipo Ola (Landscapers), John Go rdon Sinclair ( Grego ry’s Girl) and Ace Bhatti (Lin e of Duty). In this f irst film, McDonald and Dodds begin to in vestigate when a middle-aged woman is found shot dead in a rented fla t. The killer has remove d all clues to her identi ty, but DNA reveals s he went missing over 35 years ago.
