A young boy takes his mother's place in a group of gemstone-base d beings, and must learn to control his powers. This serie s is set in the fictional Beach City, where ageless alien warriors, the Crystal Gems, live in an ancient beachside temple, protecti ng the wor ld from evi l. They project female h umanoid forms from mag ical gemstones that are the core of thei r being.
