I am awestruck by this movie. Fast zombies th at can u se weapons , eve n guns, and are c apable of intelligent thought. They plot a strategic offensive to tak e over the city, hitting the airpo rt, the n the TV stations a nd the p ower plant. If you lo ve horro r, gory, and viol ent movies and don' t mind a little bad actin g, then you will LOVE this movie. It is exciting a nd even a bit sus pens eful. It star ts ou t fas t and h ard and maintains a steady pace of mayhe m and ca rnage. I can't believe more people haven't seen this film. I have yet to meet a horror movie buff th at has seen thi s film before. It is a true gemstone of European horror and exploi tation, definitely up to par with the cl assics of th e genre suc h as Zombi 2, Demons, Hou se by the Cemetery, etc. And it's ev en readi ly ava ilable u ncut (92 minutes) on DVD from Anchor B ay (under the title Nightmare City) and on VHS under the title City of the W alking Dead.
