CSI NY (Crime Scene Investigati on New Yor k) is an American police procedur al television series tha t ran on CBS from September 22, 2004 to Fe bruary 2 2, 2013, for a total of nine seas ons and 197 original episodes. The show fol lows the investigations of a team of NYPD forensic scie ntists and police officers identified as Cr ime Scene Inve stiga tors (inste ad of the actual title of Crime Scene Unit F orensic Tec hnicians (CSU)) as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusu al deaths, as well as other c rimes.
