Natur ally, being an Italian film - the re's more of a focus on sex than the relationship between the central couples, but the claustrophobic atmo sphere and entert aining characters help to keep the tension bu bbli ng over , which ensures that the movie is interesting fo r the durati on. The film doesn't have nearly as much 'bit e' as C annibal Holo caust and most of the rest of Ruggero D eodato's filmography, but it's ob vious t hat even with this early film; Deodato is a director with the pot ential t o make a mar k on cinem a. The plot i s simple in that it just focuses on two couples. George and Silvia invite Irem and Barbara f or a weeke nd cru ise on their yacht .
