After Hassan discovers Zid ik living alone on the streets, he tak es him in and cares for him like a son. Zidik now w orks together with Hassan in t he junkyard but both men are stuck in the past . 15 years ago, they lost their love d ones to a virus tha t turned people viole nt. Hassan often forgets that the virus killed h is wif e, while Zi dik still r emem bers his sist er attacking his mother and his father sacrifici ng himself to save Zidi k. He also o ften thinks of Zooey, the girl he met at the orphanage he briefly stayed at before being k icked out b y th e evil Kak Lily. Mean while, Dr. R ahman, a disgra ced scie ntist who previously manag ed to co ntain the virus, manufact ures a new strain of zombie viru s to c reate chaos. Amid this new zombie outbreak , Zidik en counter s a zombified Z ooey who t ries to attack hi m but sh e slow ly begins t o remember who he is.
