Henry Fallon , who is wheelchair bound and is suffering from a n eurologi cal disord er, apparently c ommits suicide and Morse has mi xed feelings working o n this case as he was o nce enga ged to the dead man's wif e, Susan Fallon. The body was found by his son-in- law Peter Rhodes, a local antiques deal er and the victim's wife was in L ondon.
