California gold rush, late 1800's: A gun slinging bounty hunte r (Mortimer ) travels deep into the mount ains to fi nd a deadly Apache warri or (Brother Wolf) who is wanted by th e law. Along the way he passes through a gold mining Town. The mine rs help di rect Mortimer to the Apache and send him on his way.
Mortimer enters the forest and begins to track the Apache. Back in t own, the m iners un-earth an ancient meteor. Th ey use t heir pick axes to crack it open. A section of the meteor splits ap art and spores explode out of it. The spore s urround and infect the entire population of the mining camp . They are transformed into rav enous mutan ts.
After a vicio us battle a gainst the Apache warrior, M ortimer exits the forest wit h his prisoner in shackles. They hike back to the mining town to find them selv es surrounded by a h orde of bl ood thir sty mutants. Now Mortimer th e gun slinger and Brother Wolf the Warrior must join to gether to survi ve the mutant hordes.
