You Are Not Alone (Danish Du er ikke alene) (1978) is a Danish coming-of- age fi lm written by Lasse Nielse n and Bent Pet ersen, directed by Lasse Nielsen and Ernst Johansen and produced by Steen Herdel. Set in a Danish all-boys boarding s chool wher e one of the bo ys, Bo (Ande rs Agen sø) develop s a special relatio nship wit h the head master's y oung son Kim (Pet er Bjerg). In the beginning of the fi lm the headma ster is tr ying to g et f unding for a new gym for the school. The boarding school is likely a Chr istian one, as th ey have school praye r and the teac hers k eep referrin g to good Christian morals.
