Howard T yler (Frank Lovej oy) is a fa mily man, living in California, who can't seem to get by financiall y. He meets up with a small-time, but charismatic, ho od Jerry Slocum (Llo yd Bri dges). Soon , Slocum convinces T yler to participate in gas station r obberies to get by. Later, they kidnap a wealthy man in hopes o f getting a huge ransom.
