A female teacher (Lee Yo ng-ae) gives shelter to an esc aped convict, but her husband, misconstruing her intent ions, reacts violently and acc identally stabs himself to death in th e process . The teacher is charged with her husba nd's murder, but fortunately the prosecutor on the ca se is a former student of hers, of who m she h ad taken painstaking care w hen she w as working at an elementary school. Remembering her kindness to him, the pro secutor uncovers her innocence in cou rt, and she is acquitted of the crim e.
